Erica is undertaking a PhD on cephalopods focused on using their hard parts to unravel their ecology. She has degrees from the Universities of Hawaii and Otago. She is supervised by Zoë, Jasmin (see alumni), Justin Payne, and Gretchen Grammer (SARDI Aquatic Sciences).

Arieli is undertaking a PhD on seafood provenance and fraud. She has a Master's in fisheries biology from the Federal University of São Paulo (and has a passion for cephalopods!). She is supervised by Zoë and Justin Payne.

Qiaz is undertaking her PhD at Uni of Adelaide on octopus genetics & proteomics. Qiaz has degrees from the National University of Singapore and is supervised by Prof Bronwyn Gillanders and co-supervised by Zoë.
